I have downloaded it already, but then my computer had problems. so after that was fixed, i had to install my drive again, ut i lost the CDs, are there any ways i can install it online?

Everything seems to be PC out there – even though the store that sold it to me swore it was Mac compatible.

I have purchased the portable multi drive. The video is fine playing a DVD but I dont get any sound. I have tried it on two different notebooks still no sound.

I have purchased the portable multi drive. The video is fine playing a DVD but I dont get any sound. I have an Asus EeePC 1008HA. I subsequently tried it on someone elses laptop (HP) and found the same problem. He also had a internal DVD player – when using his internal DVD player with the PowerDVD software provided with the multi drive, we also could not get any sound. It must be a software issue with PowerDVD. We did get sound when usingf alternative software on his laptop. Unfortunately that software didnt work wih the LG multi driver.

I still havent been able to find a solution for my problem. Anybody able to help me?

I am not so sure about the copy protection. I guess Microsoft and other big companies do have copy protection and if it was really fool proof then we wouldn’t be seeing illegal copies of their software. I wouldn’t really bank on this copy protection feature.
