Convert Videos and Movies for your iPod / iPhone

With the Videora iPod / iPhone Converter, watching movies in our iPods / iPhones has never been this easy.

One of the strengths of the iPod and iPhone regardless of generation is the video quality. There has not been a single time where it has failed to please me in watching video clips and movies in terms of quality and performance. However, the question always for this is, how do you convert videos / movies for your iPod / iPhone?

When I got my first iPod (the 5th Gen 160GB iPod Video) two years ago, I tried using iTunes to convert movies and video files. The funny thing is, whenever I tried converting a video file, only the video was converted and not the audio. The result? A silent movie.

So I tried searching for a converter for the iPod and found the Videora iPod Converter. Not only did it do a good job of converting videos for my iPod, it was very easy to use as well. Let me show how it works.

That is how the Videora iPod Converter looks like when you first run it. If you need the installer, you can download Videora’s different converters at their official Videora site

To convert a video, just go to the Convert Tab located at the upper left corner of the application and then click “Video File”.

Now you will notice at the main pane of the application that you would be asked to choose between normal and power mode.

Now for instance you chose to install the iPod nano video converter, the normal mode would guide you on how to convert movie or video files for iPod nano. If you downloaded the one for the iPod 5th Generation, the normal mode would guide you and convert your video for the iPod 5th Generation.

The conversion process for normal mode is very easy. The application would guide you step by step and in no time, you would have the converted video.

The Power mode is easy to use as well. The description may be a little intimidating but I assure you the power mode is easy to use as well. Actually I prefer to use the Power mode.

If you have more than one kind of iPod, then the Power mode is for you. You won’t need to download multiple Videora converters for every iPod device you have. So if you downloaded the iPod Nano converter, you won’t need to download the iPod Touch converter.

If you look at the left side, you just need to select the file you want to convert then indicate the folder where you want it to be placed, then input the title that you want it to be.

You can then select from the “Device” dropdown list as to what iPod or iPhone device you would want it converted. Don’t change the Profile dropdown. It would automatically change once you choose your device from the “Device” dropdown.

After choosing your device, you can just click “Start Converting” at the right bottom side of the application.

The video would now start converting and you can now go to the Progress tab to view how much has been converted already. You can even convert another video file if you wish.

And there you have it. I hope I’ve helped you convert your videos so you can use them for your iPod or iPhone. Your comments or questions are very welcome.
