The author has not clarified on hardcoding the subtitles over the output file in SUPER. Few other readers also raised this query.

On going through the menu options in Super, I could not find anything to add the subtitle file for conversion. May be the option is not there at all!

The video bitrate is roughly the quality of the video. If you do use 512 kbps it would definitely be faster but would have a lower quality. Distortion would depend on the type of video.

I suggest that you still try 512kbps so you would now if the videos you have are optimized for that kind of quality in the 5800. You might not even notice any difference in video quality and even benefit from the smaller file size and better performance.

Thanks for the post.

I tried Media Encoder with the settings you specified. My phone is struggling to play the movie sometimes. Total file size: 760 MB

Is it something to do with bitrate? What does bitrate signify? If i use 512kbps will the rendering on mobile be faster without distortion? Please reply. Thanks a lot.
