I try to replace the old hbedv.key by the new one shared here. But when I attempted to replace it,an error window pop up and said : can’t move hbedv:a file with the name you specified already exist. Specify a different file name.

I suggest that you contact Avira support directly. They would be in a better situation to resolve your problem.

I had for one year Avira premium and now after expire wanted to install the free Avira version again. Although using the Antivir registry cleaner tool it wont delete the antivir keyfile of the premium edition in the registry. This asks to buy the premium edition for another year. When installing the free Antivir over it, it wont open the umbrella. Question is, how to remove all those registry entries from the previous premium installation?

p/s: I tried deleting the hbdev.key first (win7 x64) but win7 didnt let me, so i copied and replace the hbdev.key instead, and it works!.
